New rules of immigration to canada under the Skilled Workers category

In November 2008 Canadian Ministry of Citizenship and Migration introduced new embassy instructions for proceeding the immigration cases under the Skilled Workers category. The terms of cases finalizing will be reduced to 6-12 months. Main changes:

• the list of 38 eligible occupations was introduced
• the primary application is no longer submitted to the embassy
• the procedure is simplified
